Job Description

A leading Financial Services company is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor for a 6 month contract. The role involves supervising the AP function to allow the current Accounts Payable Manager to set up and implement projects. After 6 months there is a possibility that the position could be extended or even made permanent for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will be educated to a degree level and have a minimum of 3 years experience in managing an Accounts Payable function, preferably in a Financial Services environment.

The main duties of the role involve:

Overseeing accounts payable/creditors function

Approving all payments

Reconciling Accounts Payable function

Recommending improvements to the Accounts Payable function

Accounts Payable reporting

Salary range is R22K to R25k per month depending on experience.

A tertiary qualification is preferable.
