SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- Appropriate Tertiary Qualification.
- 7+ years relevant experience.
- Strong and proven relationships in the Retirement Fund Environment.

ROLE OUTPUTS
Perspective: Process
- Participate in the development of a business unit sales strategy with the relevant market segments.
- Participate in the development of an overall retirement funds and client focused tactical sales strategy in support of the overall business unit and product sales strategies.
- Establish and promote healthy vertical and horizontal business processes that ensure efficient and effective sales delivery within set expectations and agreed performance standards in the area of accountability.
- Design and align efficient and effective processes for the delivery of the sales and client strategy across all relevant areas.
- Gather information from clients, assessing needs and risk profile, whilst helping to devise ways to mitigate risk.
- Ensure effective and appropriate client pricing and negotiate terms and closing rates within set rules and guidelines.
- Accountable for the gathering and communication of market intelligence pertaining to competitors, clients and products.
- Active participation in the marketing the brand through positioning within the relevant stakeholders and structures.
- Ensure compliance to related governance, relevant legislation and risk mitigation strategies.
- Initiate and drive specific processes for cross selling, joint ventures and strategic partnerships where relevant both externally and internally.
- Develop and manage alternative distribution opportunities to maximise brand awareness and profitability.
- Establish a development and induction practice that will grow the broker/agent footprint and deliver on growth targets.
Client Service:
- Liaise with, build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, specialists, and business clients (labour, corporates, parastatals, government &, employers) to ensure effective and efficient process delivery and client satisfaction to all.
- Contribute to a service culture which builds rewarding relationships, proposes innovations and allows others to provide exceptional client service.
- Establish and maintain a culture of organisational co-operation in order to ensure a professional service delivery.
- Contribute to the competitive edge of Sales Distribution in Beneficiary Funds through external networking and benchmarking in Industry and National Forums.
- Ensure satisfactory delivery of Service Level Agreements.
