Job Description
Main Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation of budgets, profits and cash forecasts
- Participation in the strategic development of the cluster
- Accurate production of weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to mgmt and Head Office that includes monthly BU packs, weekly cash forecasting, commercial reporting and quarterly securitisation
- Maintain a cohesive, disciplined and strong financial team with a strong orientation to constant improvement and always maintaining a questioning attitude
- Provide high standards of financial controls and strong directional financial leadership
- Ensure adherence to Group reporting standards and policies
- Effective Management of working capital
- Communicate key risks to senior mgmt on a regular basis ensuring they are well informed at all times
- Maintain a cohesive, disciplined and strong financial team with a strong orientation to constant improvement and always maintaining a questioning attitude
- Provide high standards of financial controls and strong directional financial leadership
- Ensure adherence to Group reporting standards and policies
- Effective Management of working capital

- Maintain integrity of general ledger data across the 4 businesses
- Manage and control impending system migration for the cluster
- Develop and maintain effective relationships and communication with subordinates, production management, sales staff, group financial and executive mgmt
- Formulation of business and finance models to guide decision making at senior levels
Qualifications & Experience required
- CA(SA)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in financial control & management in the industrial/manufacturing sector
- Proven successful responsibility for financial function
- Expertise in financial planning & control preferably with treasury management exposure
- High level of IT exposure & experience in overseeing projects
