Company Profile

Founded in 1997 by Pete Whitehouse, Contract Accountants comprises 3 branches - two located in the Western Cape, one in Rondebosch, Cape Town, one in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town as well as one in the Eastern Cape.

The core of our business is the attraction, selection and placement of the best financial staff for our clients. We place both permanent and temporary/contractual candidates.

Our staff boast specialist knowledge in the permanent as well as temporary/contractual employment arenas. Consultants develop thorough knowledge of our clients and the industries in which they recruit.

At Contract Accountants, we believe in understanding what our clients' key deliverables are and focus on delivering these consistently and with integrity.

Our Goal:

To become the most highly recognised financial recruiter in South Africa.

In order to make this a reality:

  • We operate in an environment of unquestionable ethics.
  • We bring job satisfaction, careers opportunities, scope for learning, growth and personal financial stability to all associated with Contract Accountants.
  • We facilitate the efficiency of financial performance and control our customers, by providing temporary and permanent financial human resources of high quality.

Permanent employment arena:

When clients need a core permanent workforce comprising competent and highly-skilled talent, Contract Accountants provides a range of suitably qualified and experienced individuals.  Contract Accountants handles financial assignments only, which allows us to develop the depth of understanding expected of a highly specialised agency.

Temporary & Contract arena:

The outsourcing of financial resources fill gaps created by maternity leave/illness etc., extremely efficiently. Contractors bring their expertise and skills to an organisation, which enables companies to benefit from a pool of talent in a cost effective manner.

An increasing number of companies are making a fundamental shift towards a flexible, assignment-orientated workforce.
