What are psychometric assessments?

Psychometric assessments are measurement instruments that aim to provide a more objective means of evaluating individuals. Our client focuses on three key areas and, more importantly, how they interact:

Personality: Assessing personality helps to understand how you are likely to interact with others, manage your work, your leadership style, energy, social confidence etc.

Intellect/Cognitive functioning: These assessments look at verbal, abstract, spatial and numerical ability, amongst others.

Judgment or decision making (in some cases this may not form part of the assessment. This assessment is an interview that explores the relationship between people and their work, and the complexity of decisions that the individual is comfortable with, both now and in the future.
